The food preparation cook will be responsible for all of food preparation in the school-operated food hall unit within the Hey Day Market.

Essential Functions

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, inventory, kitchen organization, prepping, cooking, and storage of all food, and some front of house service duties. This role will ensure that high standards of food quality and safety are consistently met. The cook will work closely with the foodservice manager to execute the menu and recipe development, maintain kitchen organization and quality control to uphold efficient workflow practices. The food preparation cook will work with the foodservice team to provide a seamless dining experience for customers and contribute to the educational goals of the program.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in food services including food preparation and use of cooking equipment.
