Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a Food Operations Manager 3 to join our team at Delta Airlines Headquarters located in Atlanta GA!
About the location:
Delta Airlines is an industry leader that puts its primary focus on its guest and its people. Sodexo has partnered with Delta for over 5 years and just resigned for another 9 years! The current food landscape consist of 4 cafes, 4 retail branded concepts, and catering operations.
About the Role:
The Food Operations Manager 3 will oversee the reservation cafe which has a managed volume of approximately 2 million. The reservation cafe is located in the TOC building which is located on a secluded part of the campus and technically on airport grounds. The Food Operations Manager 3 will be the number 1 for this location which does approximately 10K/week in sales and lots of catering is done in this building. Duties include but not limited to:
P&L Budget management
Managing BOH and FOH operations
Managing a team of 1 salaried manager (Executive Chef) and 35 t0 40 hourly employees.
This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Provides leadership and supervision for the on-site food service exempt and non-exempt level staff in the delivery of our contractual agreement with the client. Provides supervision for food services at account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the company. Implements business practices in order to uphold company mission, values and commitments made in the Sodexo client contractual agreement.Key Duties- Establishes a safe work environment
Assumes General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence
Utilizes Sodexo tools and programs to develop client, customer, and staff relationships, to ensure account retention
Implements and fully utilizes all Sodexo tools and programs to ensure financial outcomes
Directs daily operations of food service to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory and resources, ensures operating standards and regulatory requirements are met
Develops and implements plans, projects, with defined objectives, methods, timetables and budget to support client and Sodexo strategic plan
Ensures adherence to all HR standards for Sodexo, client, and regulatory agencies
