About this position

The Food & Nutrition Operations Coordinator assists with various administrative and operational functions for the department. This role is multi-layered that may support functions of Finance, Payroll, Policy Compliance, and other applicable areas. The coordinator helps ensure well-organized day-to-day operations and successful project-based outcomes in a timely manner while continually raising the bar on efficiency and project success.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

  • Project management training, preferred.

Experience

Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience required in healthcare office administration, facility development, and/or information technology support. Health Care preferred.

  • Associates degree in a related field preferred.

  • MS Office experience with proficiency in Excel required

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service and administrative skills required.

  • Ability to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with others.

  • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, with strong organizational skills required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong computer literacy, and the ability to understand how hardware and software interact.

  • Ability to learn new applications and systems.

  • Financial acumen to monitor project budgets, spending, and investigate cost overruns.

  • Demonstrated customer service skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated teamwork skills.

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, critical thinking and judgment skills to anticipate potential problems and identify when problems occur and the ability to solve problems as they arise.

  • Attention to detail and skill in performing with a high degree of accuracy.

  • PC and keyboarding skills.

  • Ability to multi-task in high pressure and fast-paced environment.
