Food Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description Job Description ​The Maintenance Mechanic will assist production in the setting up, installing, repairing and maintaining of machinery and equipment. Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, welding, fabrication and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of food processing and packaging machines Support production in the assembly of machinery as needed Maintain inventory of production equipment parts and order as assigned/needed Complete timely repairs and maintain all equipment to the highest operating standards to avoid any “down time” and loss of productivity Assist in preventative maintenance program Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

Reads and interprets equipment manuals, schematics and work orders to perform required maintenance and service Cohesively work with and effectively communicate with all employees to maximize volume and quality output. 2-5 years of technical experience in a food manufacturing setting pref.
