Working at Rancho Bernardo Inn, this role will be responsible for providing technical, supervisory, and administrative support to Food & Beverage Management.

Anticipate, understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.

Assist, as directed, to train, schedule and support Food & Beverage staff, to maintain highest possible levels of employee morale and department productivity.
To assist in overseeing the dining room and beverage cart to ensure professional standards of restaurant and banquet operations, including coordinating reservations, organizing special seating arrangements, and supervising close-out procedures.
Assist in maintaining a purchase order system, and par stock levels on all food and beverage products and to control spoilage and waste.
Assist in overseeing and reconciling monthly food and beverage inventory.
Assist in ensuring the proper execution of all food and beverage functions as stated in the BEO, including meeting all customer specifications and special requests, overseeing room set-up and breakdown, and ensuring proper staffing for each function.
Assist in the hiring, training, scheduling, support, review and discipline of employees directly accountable to his/her position, to maintain highest possible levels of employee morale and department productivity.
Minimum of three years' experience in fine dining food service required, including at least one year in a supervisory position.
Must be familiar will all aspects of restaurant and bar operations, and an overall knowledge of foods and cocktails.
Customer focused, efficient and organized team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage staff to maintain a high level of morale and productivity.
