The Food & Beverage Operations Manager provides the necessary food service that will impart to our guests a good perceived value, and result in high rate of guest satisfaction, while at the same time provide a modicum of profitability for the property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIESManage front of the house food and beverage areas developing positive morale and superior guest service, throughout the F&B division.Develop and manage departmental budgets with the goal of achieving and exceeding budgetary levels.Perform at least quarterly review of sales reports with Director and Executive Chef and recommend changes.Provide leadership to front of the house F&B managers in the planning of short and long term objectives.In conjunction with the Director of F&B, identify problems and implement solutions, policies and procedures to meet established objectives.Develop and maintain a consistent and identifiable dining experience and service level standard specific to each venue and provide applicable training to staff.Recommend and implement changes in division as needed to ensure the timely adjustment of strategies to achieve objectives.Oversee effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching, terminations and other personnel related issues.Evaluate and analyze staff scheduling to maximize efficiency.Communicate regularly with team members to keep them informed on all casino activities and events.Meet regularly with BOH staff to identify opportunities for collaboration and improvement.Work with the Marketing team in a collaborative manner with regards to promotions, events.Develop and implement Train the Trainer program for FOH managers and supervisors.Spend time in each venue during peak hours on a scheduled rotation to understand venue needs and development opportunities among FOH team.Other duties as assigned
