JOB SUMMARY
The FOH Supervisor oversees restaurant operations on a shift by shift basis ensuring customers receive an excellent branded experience at the Genesee Brew House. They are responsible for supporting and supervising staff, responding to customer inquiries and complaints, and reconciling cash and deposits. Report to management with feedback on restaurant operations, and any ongoing issues or problems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor and support restaurant floor on a shift by shift basis ensuring smooth and efficient operations and excellent customer service
Liaison with management and hourly employees to improve restaurant processes and environment
Reconcile money collected and make sure building is safe and secure
Follow opening and closing procedures to make sure financials are correct and cash handling protocols are followed
Follow opening and closing procedures to make sure the restaurant is ready for service and that the restaurant is closed down securely
Working knowledge of all programs needed for service including POS System, Shift Notes, Table Management, Credit Card Processing, and AV/Telephones
Make decisions on staffing for the day including adding/calling off shifts and assigning work areas
Ensure employees are following all NYS regulations and company policies
Solving escalated customer issues in a friendly and empathetic manner
During shift assist employees especially during periods of high volume
Identify issues with working environments and report them to management
Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers and coworkers that fosters an inclusive, safe, and encouraging work environment
Ensure employees are delivering the best customer service during shifts and following company policies through coaching, modeling behavior, feedback, and correction if necessary
Ensure all checklists and cleaning procedures are completed by staff before, during, and after shifts. Contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of workspaces in Brew House
Represent the Genesee Brand, the Genesee Brew House, and the Genesee Brew House Management team in a positive and professional manner with employees and customers
Recording notes for the day in Shift Notes
Other duties as assigned
Actively exhibit a commitment to support a diverse and inclusive work environment
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED
1+ years of experience in a high-volume restaurant in a lead or supervisory capacity
Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Office
Willingness to obtain Serve Safe Food Safety Manager Level
Ability to maintain stable performance under pressure and de-escalate stressful situations

The pay range is $20/hr-$23/hr.
