Job Description:

Leidos currently has an opening for a Full-motion Video (FMV) Processing Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) Analyst supporting a PACOM OCONUS-based manned ISR program. Leidos is the Lead Systems Integrator for manned aircraft providing imagery and multi-source data for both real-time and post mission analysis.

The FMV PED Analyst is responsible for providing analysis and sensor operation support from a forward deployed OCONUS PED location. These responsibilities include the following: ability to exploit and analyze electro optical (EO), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). Infra Red (IR) full motion video in support of the customer, apply remote sensing techniques/fuse target observables with other intelligence sources to create action based intelligence, product review and dissemination as applicable throughout the mission. Accomplish exploitation in a timely, accurate manner, and disseminated to all required organizations. Coordinate with liaison regarding any actionable or significant activity especially when FMV reveals indicators than can support the force protection and time sensitive targeting missions

This is a deployed position located in the Philippines. To be considered for this position candidates must:

Be willing to deploy for rotations of at least 90 days. Be able to obtain a passport to travel internationally. Be willing to travel for long periods of time, work long hours and/or non-regular hours with minimal notice. Be able to successfully accomplish the CONUS Replacement Center course which requires a deployment physical, immunizations and training.

The successful candidate should have the following required skill set: A Bachelor's Degree is required and 5 + years of Military Intelligence experience. 4 years of additional related intelligence experience may substitute for a degree.

Experience and proficiency using at least four of the following systems or software: MAAS, DCGS-A, CLAW, PIDGIN, SOCET GXP, XPlan, Remote View, mIRC, ArcGIS, GETS, FalconView, AIMES, VIDEX, Ares, CEREBRO. Be knowledgeable of Service/Joint SIGINT procedures, data processing systems and associated SIGINT database/search engines Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office and Google Earth Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI, or a Top Secret clearance with a current SSBI, and be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Highly Desired (but not required): Special Operations assignment with appropriate PED/ISR experience at the USSOCOM or Component level and/or one of the Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs)

We are looking for motivated self-starters who want to join a team dedicated to excellence and continuous progress. Selected candidates will participate in engineering activities at any point in the system development life cycle including: systems analysis/requirements definition, design, development, integration, testing, acceptance/deployment, sustainment/maintenance, and evaluation. Experience with Full Motion Video and EO/IR systems required. Working knowledge of IT networks and configuration is a plus. 50% Travel OCONUS. Primary Responsibilities Will collect, maintain, organize, and compile technical data for the aircraft and sensor systems and lifecycle management. Capable of providing preliminary solutions to a variety of problems that may arise in an expeditious, efficient, and timely manner. Become familiar with and utilize the established configuration management, safety and quality assurance processes. Servicing of airborne imaging sensors and systems infrastructure, as well as: depot level assembly, integration and testing of components. Responsible for engineering support including: field maintenance of aircraft and ground station systems, research and development, designing, building, assembling, modifying and/or repairing prototypes, and full lifecycle processes and procedures. Provide technical support for deployed locations. This job may assist in servicing of airborne imaging sensors as well as depot level assembly, integration and testing of components. Assignments may be performed independently or as a small team lead and reported to supervisor or other more senior staff on a regular basis. This job may monitor, and otherwise assist lower level service technicians. This job may include any aspect of field support, and is not limited to system hardware and software Basic Qualifications Able to obtain a US passport and visa to travel CONUS and OCONUS. Be willing to work in Hardship and Hazardous locations. Willing to work long hours and/or non-regular hours with minimal notice. Capable of working independently or as part of a team. Possess or be able to pass pre-deployment physical. Willing to fly for extended periods. Capable of lifting and carrying 80+ lbs for extended distances. Willing to occasionally travel to Harrisonburg, Virginia area between deployments. BS degree and 2+ years of related experience. Additional years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree. Troubleshooting proficiency is required. Have a minimum active TS/SCI Understanding of basic electronics principles and theory and must be proficient with test equipment. Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint). Possess strong problem-solving, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Current experience with DOD avionics, to include but not limited to, communication, navigation, and COMSEC equipment repair and modification. Broad technology experience in systems engineering, ISR sensors, requirements tracking, testing and validation. "Hands-on" experience developing systems for Airborne ISR programs and sensors. Experience writing technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and creation training materials. Prior military Airborne ISR and flight operations experience.
