As an Electronics Assembler you can expect to:

• Must be able to read drawings and work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
• Must be able to make various electronic and mechanical assemblies for high frequency radios
• Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device. Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place, using handtools, power tools, machines, and equipment.
• Mounts assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on board. Connects component lead wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points, using soldering or related bonding procedures and equipment.
• Adjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.

Required Experience

• Must have +2 years of assembly experience (required), desired 1 year in a manufacturing environment
• Must have experience with working in diverse and busy team environment
• Ability to read drawings or blueprints
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. (required)
• Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure and against deadlines. (required)
• Excellent interpersonal skills in a team environment. (required)

Educational Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent (required).
• Some college preferred
• Soldering certification
