Floral Manager

The Southwest Division has an opening for a Floral Department Manager at store 2028 in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Writing firm orders

  • Ensure standards of department presentation and operations are met; including cleanliness and sanitation, inventory control, rotation, quality, ordering, variety standards, signing, seasonal schematic and superior customer service

  • Responsible for ordering and inventory control to meet division "turn" goals

  • Ensure the department has the highest quality of floral products available for the customer

  • Monitor to ensure variety standards are followed, as well as 100% compliance on ad item display

  • Ensure proper backroom procedures are being met

  • Ensure paperwork, as set by the division, is followed

  • Perform all other related duties as assigned by management

  • Responsible for the sales and profitability of the department

    Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED or relevant work history or demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the position

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in floral

  • Must possess strong Customer Service qualities

  • Good mathematical skills

  • Ability to forecast sales and targeted buying guides A file check will be completed.

Salary: $ 15.35 per hour

Responsible for ensuring safe and efficient package sortation through the management of Package Handlers. The Operations Manager may also manage administrative employees and functions and ensures administrative processes are compliant with FXG policies and procedures and governmental regulations. Essential Functions * Serves as a champion for FXG's Safety Above All Culture and supports all related initiatives * Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to: hiring, terminations, coaching, training, recognition and rewards, performance evaluation and management, discipline, addressing employee concerns and staff productivity * Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls specific day-to-day operations within the station or hub * Responsible for assigning and managing employees to ensure the safe and efficient sortation of packages through the facility, minimizing operational cost and maximizing operational quality, including the movement, tracking and administration of trailers (in conjunction with the linehaul department as applicable) * Analyzes operational performance through direct observation, interpretation of reports and collaboration with others.
