About the Position:

When members of the community come into our care as patients or residents, they leave the security and comfort of their homes. It is vital that our facility offers a safe, secure, well maintained, and comfortable place for our patients and residents to heal. The Floor Technician plays a key role in ensuring that our flooring throughout the facility is well maintained and free of any safety hazards for our patients and their families while they are in our care.

Position Summary:

The Floor Tech is responsible for cleaning and maintaining flooring throughout the facility. They will ensure that safety measures are taken for residents and employees while flooring is being cleaned. In addition to these core responsibilities, the Floor Tech may perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess, as a minimum, high school education

  • Previous Floor Technician experience in long term care preferred

  • Candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience in Carpet and Vinyl Plank preferred

  • Must be able to speak, understand, and write in fluent English
