Linden Hills Co-Op is looking for a Floor Coordinator to join our team. It's a part-time position and the hours will vary; must be able to and willing to work a variety of hours including evenings and weekends.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet customer needs with a smiling face and remember that Customer Service is our top priority

  • Support Cashiers and the Customer Service Desk: ensuring the Front End traffic flow is consistent and timely; and that the supported team is getting their breaks on time

  • Ensure accuracy and security of all cash received through Front End during shift

  • Maintain store in clean, orderly condition during shift (registers, floor and restrooms)

  • Ensure the store is opened and closed following established procedures

  • Deal with shoplifters, disorderly customers, and medical emergencies following established procedures

  • Communicate important happenings during shift to other members of the Front End team (Floor Coordinators, Front End Management) for follow-up

  • Assign Front End staff tasks during down time

  • Be point person to any tasks needed to keep functionality of Front End going during store hours, delegating as needed

  • Ensure all work assigned by the Front End Manager is completed in a timely manner

  • Participate in performance evaluations of Front End staff

  • Participate in training of Cashiers and Customer Service staff

  • Directly supervise up to 6 members of Front End staff at any given time

  • Run various reports (cashier accountability and hourly sales amongst others)

Environmental Conditions/Physical

  • Ability to stand on feet for up to 8 hours a day

  • Lift product boxes and equipment up to 25 lbs. (Required)

  • Carry special ordered product to sales floor. (Required)

  • Extremely busy periods accompanied by slow periods

  • Ability to read fine print

This is a full time regular position with a work week expectation of 40 hours per week. Responsibilities * Provide direct case management to residents at HOPE Harbor and Harvest Hills• Complete assessment, and implement and establish a case plan for each resident, maintain and document appropriate clients records and maintain statistical information. • Provide crisis intervention assistance (mental health, chemical health, physical health) when needed.• Assist individuals with all aspects of direct services, including move-in and move-out procedures, case management services, advocacy and referrals.• Plan and facilitate resident educational and social activities on a monthly basis.• Work independently and work between multiple locations• Transport residents as needed• Collect documentation and verify status of qualifying diagnosis, chronically homeless, long-term homeless, and seriously mentally ill residents.• Accurately enter data into multiple systems (HMIS, MHIS, etc)• Maintain required statistics as directed by the funding providers and the Program Director • Participate in office and department meetings, communities and other networking meetings• Participate in community meetings and networking; • Facilitate educational/support groups and the statistics as needed• Assist in planning and development of seasonal activities as requested• Participate in meetings with office staff, building staff and the Property Management Company.• Attend educational opportunities when appropriate.• In absence the position will covered by the Clinical Lead Case Manager or another staff as assigned• Other duties that are specific to the office location and as assigned. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution; licensed with the MNBoard of Social Work• Experience with HIV/AIDS, mental health, chemical addiction and homelessness required• Understand the delivery of social services and eligible benefits in relation to the abovefields of knowledge• Minimum of one year experience working in a social services• Ability to accept supervision and work with a team of co-workers• Ability to work well with clients of diverse cultural and socioeconomic groups; respect confidentiality; able to work within ethical and legal parameters of social services• Willingness to work in an environment with a flexible work schedule and in a team environment• Willingness to support the philosophy, goals, mission, and objectives of The Salvation Army• Pass the background check and meet MVR drivers' qualifications.• It must be understood by the incumbent that the provisions of Safe From Harm will apply upon commencement of employment and also understood that the required Safe From Harm training be satisfactorily completed within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
