Providence is calling a Floor Care Specialist (1.0 FTE, Rotating/Variable) to Providence Benedictine Nursing Center in Mount Angel, OR.
This is a full time variable shift position and is eligible for full benefits.
In this position, you will:

  • Perform cleaning and maintenance of all carpeted, hard floor surfaces and upholstery.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all floor equipment.
  • Cover for Cleaning Attendant as needed.
  • Perform tasks in any assigned areas at Benedictine Nursing Center campus to provide a lasting favorable first impression for our staff, physicians, patients and visitors.
  • Participate in the departments continuous quality improvement activities.
Required qualifications for this position include:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
  • 1 year of floor care experience

This is a NOC shift position. The schedule includes working every other weekend. Scheduled nights may vary with notice. In this position you will: * Be accountable for direct and indirect quality care for resident, according to the individualized needs of the resident. * Follow the nursing process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. * Accept professional development as an integral part of nursing practice. * Coordinate resident care activities with other members of the health care team, and supervise the nursing care given. Required qualifications for this position include: * Graduation from an accredited school of nursing * License to practice nursing in the state of Oregon as a Registered Nurse (RN) * Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certification * Able to meet physical and emotional requirements of position * In Compliance with the Department of Human Services (DHS), a criminal background check is required for this position.
