The person hired for the position of Floor Care Specialist will have the primary responsibility for driving growth of floor care products throughout their region of the country. This includes working on identified, high priority, key accounts with multiple-location opportunities. It requires coordination with area sales managers and field reps for the 3M Cleaning & Workplace Safety Floor Business.
This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Collaborating with sales management teams to identify key, target accounts
Driving adoption of 3M floor care solutions at multiple locations through demonstration and training.
Serving as in-field, floor care experts to support high value accounts
Stay current with latest floor care products and processes
Collaborate very closely with 3M Application Design Engineers within the CSD Lab
Possess a High School Diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
Minimum of five (5) years of combined experience in janitorial/sanitation and/or floor care in a private, public, government or military environment
Minimum of five (5) years field sales experience
Current, Valid Driver's license is required, as you will be issued a company vehicle for this position
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
Strong presentation skills
Dynamic, engaging presence with the ability to build relationships with internal sales team, channel partners and key end users.
Documented track record for exceeding sales forecasts
Key account sales/development experience
Location: Open - Remote Based position
Sales Territory: Eastern or Western half of the united states
Travel: May include up to 75% domestic
Relocation: Is not authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
