Job responsibilities within the Flight Test Data Systems department cover a broad range of areas including real-time telemetry signal processing and data analysis tools, post flight data processing and analysis tools, airborne instrumentation setup and configuration, telemetry ground station configuration and airborne cockpit displays.

Additional responsibilities may include web development and support (JSF, Tomcat), database design and maintenance (PostgreSQL), and maintenance of legacy applications (FORTRAN, C, C++, Java).

The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.

Basic Qualifications:

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related discipline. Entry level.

Candidate should have programming experience with Java or C++ and be familiar with the Microsoft Visual Studio or Netbeans development environments.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in a number of different

programming tasks including real-time signal processing and design of user

interfaces as well as strong RDMS skills for application integration with

backend databases particularly PostgreSQL.

Desired Skills:

Experience with the QT UI and Java Server Faces frameworks and the

PostgreSQL RDMS is desired.

Web application development using JSF is also desirable.

Experience with aviation digital data bus technologies such as MIL-STD-1553, ARINC429, and IRIG-106 is a plus.

To fabricate and operate unique test rigs directed and designed by Test Engineers to satisfy customer product qualification testing requirements. Responsibilities * Fabricates and maintains test fixtures and other laboratory equipment, following engineer 2-D and 3-D drawings and schematics of primarily hydraulic or pneumatic systems, to ensure proper working order based on client needs * Interprets and adheres to the requirements of customer specified testing procedures and expectations * Installs and utilizes various sensors (primarily pressure, temperature, and flow sensors) * Records and documents all work performed in support of test setup and/or testing in a clear, concise manner in the project's test log, traveler documents, maintenance logs, and other essential documentation * Utilizes facility resources including liquid and gaseous nitrogen, propane, compressed air, and cooling water * Applies the principals of 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) in the performance of daily work responsibilities to ensure a clean, orderly, and safe work area * Provides and maintains a standard set of tools and a portable toolbox in the facility * Abides by and ensures that all duties are performed in accordance with all Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE), Trade Compliance, and Quality practices, policies, and regulations * Maintains client confidentiality at all times Skills / Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED plus one (1) to two (2) years of relevant experience and/or training * Self-disciplined and self-motivated * Ability to interpret and adhere to the requirements of customer specifications * Ability to maintain professional candor at all times and remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities * Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs.
