Flexographic Press Operator - 2Nd Or 3Rd Shift

We are seeking a Flexographic Press Operator for the following shift in our Crystal Lake, IL facility:

Shift available: 2nd Shift

• 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm M-F or 3rd Shift

• 10 pm to 6:30 am, M-F

Required Skills:

• H.S. Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience

• 2+ years RECENT roll to roll, wide web (at least 40"), central impression flexo printing press operator experience required

• Ability to stand/walk/for 12-hour shifts

• Ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness

• Basic math skills with the ability to add, subtract, divide and multiply to figure footage and lineal footage

• Measure and interpret measurements with a standard ruler to 1/16 of an inch

• Physically fit with no restrictions and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs; push, pull, maneuver very large rolls of materials weighing several hundred pounds with the use of equipment on a daily basis.

• Ability to squat, bend, crouch, and kneel.

• Ability to tolerate chemicals and occasional strong odors.

The Press Operator at Technipaq is responsible for producing quality printed material consistently. Able to manage press and helper at all times. Must also be able to monitor workspace for safety compliance and cleanliness, manage daily housekeeping activities and other responsibilities as assigned.
