Please review the following job description:

Process claims for Flexible Spending Account, Health Reimbursement Arrangements, Transportation Spending Accounts and Health Saving Account (HSA) Plan Participants. Determine coverage and pay out based on IRS guidelines.

Educate plan participants verbally and via written correspondence on client's plan specifics. Research and resolve issues as it relates to the benefit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1.Accurate and timely entry of claims into recordkeeping system.
2.At time of claim entry a determination of the eligibility of the submitted claim is made based on Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations and client's plan document.
3.Primary customer service representative educating caller on plan specifics.
4.Demonstrate proficiency using online tools assisting plan participant in utilizing Employee Benefits onlinse communication tools.
5.Research and resolve issues as it relates to the benefits.
6.Keep abreast of industry related items as it pertains to (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)), Section 125, 132 and HSAs).

Required Skills and Competencies:

1.High School diploma or equivalent
2.One year of data entry skills or one or more years of business math
3.Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
4.Possess strong customer service skills (telephone, problem solving)
5.Good verbal and written communication skills
6.Ability to travel, occasionally overnight

Desired Skills:

1.Knowledge of and/or ability to learn recordkeeping automation systems
2.Ability to apply analytical and reasoning skills

Regular or Temporary: Regular Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: Responsible for the day to day administration of premium billing and Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) administration. Assist client and enrolled participants on questions as it relates to their benefit plan structure and COBRA regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Key participant elections and changes into COBRA and premium billing administration systems. 2. Notify insurance carriers of election changes. 3. Day to day interaction with clients, participants and association members concerning participant elections. 4. Collect fees from association members and distribute funds to appropriate insurance carriers through month end close out process. 5. Assist in the implementation of COBRA administration software setup for each new client. 6. Distribute COBRA election packages to eligible participants. Maintain appropriate files for COBRA participants. 7. Track participants' COBRA payments. 8. Notify insurance carriers of delinquent payments and discontinue coverage. 9. Provide monthly COBRA reporting and reconciliations to clients. 10. Provide problem resolution for customer service issues relating to premium billing administration and COBRA administration. 11. Provide quality customer service in a timely manner through effective written and verbal communication skills. Required Skills and Competencies: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Four years of human resources or business administration experience 3. Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills 4. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer skills, such as Microsoft Office software products 7. Strong analytical and problem solving ability 8. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight Desired Skills: 1. Premium Billing Administration and COBRA Administration experience 2.
