Flex Teacher

To be considered for this position, you must hold a substitute teaching credential or a CA teaching credential. The Flex Teacher position is also a great opportunity for individuals working towards teacher accreditation.

Flex Teachers will have an opportunity to observe best practices in classroom instruction from experienced teachers and school leaders at a leading charter school. Flex Teachers observe and learn from Master Teachers,co-teach with teacher-leaders, provide in-house substitute teaching coverage for teachers, and support teachers with tutoring, assessing, grading, and individual or small group student instruction.

Flex Teachers will assist with a variety of work inside and outside of the classroom, including supporting teachers and students in the classroom, student supervision and providing substitute teaching coverage for teachers when necessary. Full-Time Flex Teachers may float from classroom to classroom throughout the day or may be assigned to one or more classrooms for a portion to a full day to cover absences and other situations.
