Job Description

As a FLEX D&E Technical Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the technical training plans for the Development & Engineering organization, including managing and executing training schedule, Learning Management System (LMS) management, curriculum creation in LMS per department requirements, creating training and competence reports, and other data management tasks. Each day will offer new and exciting challenges, including but limited:

  • Coordinate training schedule by communicating with trainers; promoting training opportunities via direct messaging, intranet announcements, and in-person staff announcements; ensuring student pre-work is completed, facilities and materials are ready, and trainings are properly tracked in LMS.

  • LMS training entry, verification, reporting and administration.

  • Support managers and team leads in creating training curricula in LMS.

  • Prepare training and competence reports and share at various staff meetings.

  • Point of contact for D&E San Diego groups, employees, and other ASML departments.

  • Represents D&E San Diego with D&E worldwide on projects regarding technical competence development curriculum and the processes, tools, and WoW.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent experience desired.

Experience

  • 2+ years direct work experience required.

  • Experience working in a technical training or organizational training environment.

  • Ability to execute training coordination tasks in a timely manner and escalate as necessary to get help.

  • Ability to build strong relationships and partner with other ASML training departments, D&E group leaders, competence leads and function owners to build trust and influence at multiple levels within the organization.

  • Experience with enterprise learning management systems to establish training programs and classes, surveys, dashboard reports, and other functions that help manage a world-class training organization

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven ability to lead initiatives with direct and indirect authority.

  • Ability to analyze course evaluation data.

  • Ability to influence/negotiate through formal and informal networks.

  • Analytical and project management skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage a variety of resources according to a detailed project plan.

  • Ability to manage complex situations with diverse requirements with good judgment.

  • Skill with using a variety of computer applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, e-mail, LMS, and scheduling applications) required.

  • Experience developing and creating e-learnings desired.

  • Experience working in a world-wide organization with multiple global locations desired.

Context of the position

FLEX at ASML is equivalent to temporary or contractor. You will work full time hours on-site at ASML San Diego (Rancho Bernardo), but be payrolled through Qualstaff (if offered the role). FLEX hires are evaluated for conversion typically after 12-18 months based on performance, cultural fit and headcount approval.

Maintain Detachment schedule including all CSCS Detachment events, course convening's, outside training events utilizing CSCS facilities, coordinate/manage personnel availability to support missions, and mission assignments. 9. Maintains travel tracker and updates travel metrics for the assigned area of responsibility. Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work/military experience. Qualifications: Five (5) years of experience at a U.S. Navy training Command which supported the requirements of the Surface Force Training and Readiness Manual (SFTRM). Of the five years, one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Excel and Word and Outlook. Candidate must possess the ability to effectively communicate both written and orally, and be able to work in a dynamic environment. Travel may be required up to 20% of time. SECRET security clearance required. Experience supporting CSCS and/or ATG fleet scheduling, and an understanding of CSCS AWT events, basic phase CIN requirements, and CNSP/CNSL INST 8820.2 requirements a major plus.
