What does a Fleet Technician do at Swire Coca Cola?
This is a full-time industrial level auto-mechanic position, responsible for performing maintenance, running diagnostics and repairing our medium to heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers. You will inspect fleet vehicles, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and play a crucial role in keeping our trucks safe and on the road!
Responsibilities
Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements
Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules
Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma (or GED) required
ASE Certified Diesel Mechanic preferred
2+ years diagnostic, maintenance and repair of Class 7 & 8 diesel trucks and trailers required
Own set of tool set and understanding the best practice for how to use required tools
