Reports To: Fleet Manager

Starting Pay: $28.00 - $31.00/hr

Summary:

Directs and coordinates operational activities of the mobile equipment department and is responsible to plan and conduct activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Schedules needed mobile equipment repair or service work.

  • Coordinates operation and maintenance of equipment, storage facilities, and repair facilities

  • Assign trucks and passenger cars for use.

  • Generates preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) tickets weekly for the maintenance team. Generate PM and CM reports for each department as required.

  • Close PM and CM tickets weekly for each maintenance team.

  • Attend required meetings when necessary such as: Planning, Safety, TIP, QNPM, CAC, PM/CM Reviews.

  • Review and change job plans as required (i.e., when new equipment is installed). Review and support new technology on PM's and CM's.

  • Support PMP workshops, job plans and PM work orders.Train new users in Maximo and other appropriate systems.

  • Analyze data to evaluate the current process and process changes.

  • Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities

  • Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provide recommended process improvements to management.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent for two-year College or technical school; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and education.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
