Fleet Service Worker 3 - Minimum Qualifications Waived

The Position

Fleet Service Workers service vehicles and/or light, medium, and heavy construction and maintenance equipment, perform preventive maintenance, issue vehicles to employees, and perform basic diagnostic and repair work.

PER EXECUTIVE ORDER 2024-06, ALL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN WAIVED FOR THIS POSITION UNTIL DECEMBER 31st, 2024. This position is located within the Equipment Division servicing fleet vehicles in the Las Vegas area. The incumbent is responsible for servicing vehicles and/or light, medium, and heavy construction and maintenance equipment.

The incumbent is responsible for tire repair and/or replacement on medium /heavy size trucks. The incumbent is also expected to perform diagnostics and repairs on NDOT equipment. And will assist Mechanics with repairs when needed.
