Fleet Service Worker 3 - Minimum Qualifications Waived

The Position

Fleet Service Workers service vehicles and/or light, medium, and heavy construction and maintenance equipment, perform preventive maintenance, issue vehicles to employees, and perform basic diagnostic and repair work.

PER EXECUTIVE ORDER 2024-006, ALL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN WAIVED FOR THIS POSITION UNTIL DECEMBER 31 2024. This position is located in Carson City, Nevada. The incumbent is responsible for servicing vehicles and/or light, medium, and heavy construction and maintenance equipment.

The incumbent is responsible for tire repair and/or replacement on medium /heavy size trucks. The incumbent is also expected to perform diagnostics and repairs on NDOT equipment. And will assist Mechanics with repairs when needed.
