About The Job

Fleet Service Agents loads and unloads baggage and cargo, marshals aircraft to and from gates, and services aircraft.

Job Duties:

  • Move baggage and cargo of various weights to and from aircraft

  • Drive and operate belt loaders

  • Service aircraft at gates with ground power and air conditioning

  • Tow and pushback aircraft from gates

  • Service aircraft lavatories and water ports

  • Clean interior of aircraft when needed

  • Position beverage and luggage carts around the ramp area

  • Works outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Work shifts that include irregular and/or extended hours, weekends and holidays.

The terms and conditions of this position are covered by the International Association of Machinists (IAM) Collective Bargaining Agreement. The starting rate of pay is $14.18 an hour.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or international equivalent

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • People-oriented and highly motivated, with a positive and cooperative attitude

  • Lift, load, unload, and transport bags and cargo to/from aircraft's, bag carts, and conveyor belts

  • Good communication skills

  • Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities

  • Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check and/or fingerprinting to satisfy company and security requirements

  • Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable

  • Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable

  • Ability to obtain jet bridge certification

  • Must have the ability to pass the US Postal Service background check

The hours for this position are: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 1-6 pm and Tuesday 4-9 pm * Schedule and triage appointment requests for urgency according to approved protocols consistent with ProHealth's Appointment and Scheduling Guidelines. Consult a medical assistant or licensed clinician for clinical decision making whenever necessary * Use call processing and other applicable functionality in the EHR to take messages and communicate with clinicians * Greet patients and conduct check-in process * Monitor daily reminder call logs to reschedule appointments as needed * Scan and index documents into the EHR; ensure that necessary documents, lab results, etc. are available in advance of patient visits * Balance and close payment batch(es) at the end of each shift, assemble and balance batch(es) according to ProHealth cash control procedures * Maintain knowledge of current OSHA and ProHealth policies * Assist coworkers as needed to assure smooth office operation and delivery of excellent service through teamwork * Complete Clinical Task bins which involve patient call backs, referrals, and scheduling appointments with specialists per provider's requests * Heavy phone volume * Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: * High school graduate or GED equivalent * Basic computer literacy * 1 year of Office Administrative/Receptionist/Clerical experience Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working with an electronic health record * Knowledge of medical terminology Careers with Optum.
