We are pleased to share that we have an exciting career opportunity for a Fleet Sales Support Manager as a key member of the Blue Bird National Accounts Team at HQ. This position is hybrid and will require frequent travel to the Fort Valley Main Facility.

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Executive Director, National Accounts, this role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies to maximize fleet sales performance, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of fleet sales dynamics, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in driving sales support initiatives that contribute to overall business growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for fleet sales support, including customer acquisition, retention, and growth.

  • Support National Account Fleet Customers with Vehicle/deployment issues, including Battery Electric/Zero-Emissions.

  • Provide technical Product Support (FSE/Diagnostics/training) to customers as needed (in-person and remotely)

  • Foster strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the delivery of customized solutions that exceed expectations.

  • Coordinate and oversee all logistics operations between the fulfillment center and events across the region.

  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the fleet sales sector.

  • Ensure the provision of exceptional after-sales support, resolving any issues swiftly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our fleet services and expand business opportunities.

  • Develop and manage the budget for the fleet sales support department, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to drive business objectives.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Deep understanding of the fleet sales process, market dynamics, and customer needs.

  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and use it to make informed decisions.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong computer skills in Excel, Warranty systems, and SalesForce

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fleet Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • 10+ years' experience in fleet sales support management roles within a large corporate environment

  • 5+ years' experience in school bus sales support management roles preferred

  • Master Technician Certification required

  • Six Sigma Certification preferred

  • Experience in zero-emission fleet introduction
