Professional and experienced sales professional to sell Penske's pre-owned commercial vehicles to large companies that own their fleet. Responsible for managing existing accounts by building strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service. Prospecting through cold calls, email marketing and other creative methods in order to grow the customer base. Self-motivated and driven to sell is a must in order to succeed in this position.
This position offers a base salary and commission plan.

Develop comprehensive understanding of customer's fleet needs and buying practices
Establish broad and deep relationships with customer
Heavy emphasis on telemarketing calls and email marketing
Must use creative and innovative marketing ideas to find ways to reach new customers.
Work closely with Rental and Lease teams on cross-sell opportunities
Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
Some travel to visit existing customers, prospects, Penske locations and industry conferences
HS Diploma required, Associates or Bachelor degree preferred
1-2 years of vehicle sales experience or 3 years overall sales experience
Requires sales ability, professionalism, analytical thinking and basic knowledge of truck specifications
Prior experience within the truck/automotive dealer industry preferred
Strong understanding of sales process, selling value and overcoming objections
Comfortable interacting with owners and senior level managers of customers and prospects
Good oral and written communication and customer service skills
Strong negotiation skills, ability to deal with multiple complex tasks and assignments, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficient at Windows based programs to be effective using Salesforce.com, FleetNet, Rental Net and other systems and programs
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
