Fleet Parts Coordinator

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks of our parts inventory for our Class 8 fleet. This position will work within our inventory management and order processing systems to process inventory orders in a timely manner. This position will be based out of our Headquarters in Tempe, AZ and report to our Fleet Maintenance Manager. This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

What you'll be doing:

• Monitor inventory levels at each of our fleet maintenance facilities to ensure each site is properly stocked

• Run daily replenishment reports to proactively identify inventory orders that need to be placed and process orders

• Review inventory targets (min/max, reorder points) on a periodic basis and adjust accordingly

• Maintain the inventory parts catalog in our fleet maintenance software (TMW)

• Order parts on behalf of foremen requesting additional non-stock inventory to meet service needs

• Answer inquiries from fleet maintenance foremen regarding status of inventory purchases

• Proactively provide updates to fleet maintenance foremen and regional maintenance managers with inventory metrics (cycle count, accuracy, etc.) and order statuses

• Update and maintain SOPs for inventory processing

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or equivalent experience

• At least 18 years of age

• Basic knowledge of inventory management and order processing preferred

• Basic knowledge of general transportation and maintenance practices preferred

• Ability to communicate and interact with others effectively in a professional, courteous manner

• A strong sense of urgency with the ability to pay attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

• Ability to maintain high volume and high-quality content in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
