High Transit LLC is the specialty hauler for the affiliated companies of High Industries Inc. The company also provides specialty heavy hauling services to the construction and manufacturing industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic to join our team on 3rd shift at our Lancaster, PA facility.
The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, replacing, maintaining and repairing a variety of road, industrial, and construction equipment. This position will support our 3rd shift team, working Monday
Friday from 9:00 pm
Responsibilities of our fleet mechanics include:
Must perform local, state, and federal inspections on all types of equipment
May be required to perform road service
Ability to perform complete engine rebuild, brake reconditioning, suspension repairs, replacement of seals, alternators, starters, clutch, transmission and other general repairs for both tractors and trailers
Perform diagnostics and repairs to tractor electronics

Our ideal candidate will posses the following education and work requirements:
2-5 years of experience as a fleet maintenance mechanic, required
Must possess a valid CDL class A license
Must possess a valid Class 7 State Inspection and Emissions license
Tractor and trailer welding experience a plus
ASE Certifications and Refrigeration license a plus
The ability to work in both a team and independent environment, making decisions without the assistance of supervision
The ability to occasionally lead members of a team and distribute work assignments
