Thisposition is responsible for management of covered equipment with customersunder a long-term service agreement, demonstrating the value of fleetmanagement. The incumbent will assist with troubleshooting equipment, developbest maintenance practices and coordinate major maintenance event planningactivities with Caterpillar dealers. Leveraging Cat Connect offerings,additional services could include performing condition assessments, ongoinginspections, and providing/managing proactive recommendations based onpredictive analytical capabilities to lower the total cost of ownership forcustomers. The incumbent will maintain strong customer relationships, enhanceservice quality delivery and be the single point of contact for all equipmentcovered under the customer Long Term Service Agreement.
Improve Engine Reliability & Availability.
Leverage appropriate technology platforms to monitor/interpret & manage asset health.
Develop Best Practices from maintenance perspective.
Coordinate & Support major maintenance event planning activities with Caterpillar dealers.
Assist with Remote Trouble Shooting with support from dealers as needed.
Manage Service Bulletin execution and compliance.
Provide quarterly reports on asset health management
Lead semiannual Business Reviews with Management for KPI reporting and ongoing contract performance management
Perform Condition Assessments leveraging Cat Connect/Insight data and ongoing Inspections and Fluids Analysis to drive corrective actions.
Monitor the effectiveness of exceptionsand recommendation generated from predictive analytics
Manage the exception/recommendationeffectiveness by providing ongoing advisement/coaching to the customer andgetting dealers engaged as needed.
Work with internal Caterpillar groups toanalyze probable failure modes and associated root-causes as required.
Manage multi-generation plan for advanced capability offerings & deployment
Report to Operations Manager on all activities
Maintain clear communications with key customer/Caterpillar and dealer personnel.
Track and promote the value of all services provided under the long-term service agreement
Requires 25% travel as needed
Ability to work effectively under pressure, a high energy level and sense of urgency
Demonstrated advanced technical management.
3 to 5 years of experience working with gas engines
