The primary responsibility of the Fleet Maintenance Coordinator is arranging all trailer repairs, maintenance, recoveries, assignments, and PO's for repairs. Communication includes email, phone calls and face to face to be successful at this position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Schedule annual DOT trailer inspections
Handle "off pro" trailer breakdowns
Schedule trailer maintenance
Issue trailer assignments to new contractors
Issue PO's for trailer repairs
Document trailer repairs and issues
Register, title, and plate trailers
Assign trailers to be recovered
Other duties as assigned
Required Education, Experience, Certification, Licenses, Registration:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years industry experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Working knowledge of tractor trailer maintenance practices
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills
Work in team environment
Perform trailer visual inspections on Medina lot
