Summary/Objective:

Responsible for optimal operation of equipment in designated service area. Determines, communicates, addresses and resolves equipment issues resulting in minimal downtime. Coordinate, prioritize, and schedule regular maintenance and upgrades of equipment. On standby for emergency repairs at all times.

This position will be responsible for Texas fleet; may be based in Beaumont, Mansfield, or New Braunfels.

Essential Functions:

  • Inspect each mobile in designated service area, minimum of once per month
    • Perform preventive maintenance for liftgate and slide out doors
    • Inspect stairs for stress fractures
    • Inspect unit for cleanliness and organization (interior and exterior)
    • Repair, schedule or assign normal wear or damage items
    • Submit detailed inspection report to CEO, President, and COO
  • Observe and ensure highest quality specifications when overseeing field repairs
  • Plan for and collaborate with Drivers and Construction Supervisor for Fleet upgrades or modifications
  • Communicate poor quality observations in design and/or manufacturing of mobile unit and all equipment affecting fleet operation to Construction Supervisor
  • Perform and/or oversee field equipment service
    • Work under supervision of Field Service Engineer for field service to PET scanners
    • Notify COO and Director of Clinical Operations of any PET service required and/or performed
    • Inventory and organize spare parts at each hub location in designated service area
    • Return defective parts to Sarasota production facility
  • Readily available for travel to a mobile unit in the event of damage that causes the mobile unit to be hard down
    • May include field service requests directed by Field Service Engineer
    • Report any such events to COO
  • Provide weekly activity report to CEO, President and COO by Friday at 5pm local time; maintenance issues must be noted
  • All other duties as assigned

Work Environment:

Hub, mobile unit, and/or provider site. Exposure to varying elements (noise, exhaust, weather, etc.)

Travel:

Regional travel in designated service area as needed. May be required to travel same day as notice received.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three or more years experience with equipment maintenance or equivalent training/certification
  • Basic computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to read operating manuals and instructions
  • Strong problem solving skills

VIEW JOBS 1/18/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-18T00:00 Overview This position is responsible for the maintenance, and/or repair, of fuels related equipment in an assigned group of 7-Eleven/Stripes stores within a geographic area. Technician must respond to assigned service calls for repairs, and also complete a regularly scheduled preventative maintenance program for all assigned stores. Position reports to the Area Facilities Manager. Responsibilities This position includes, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities: * Make needed repairs and/or adjustments to fuels dispensing equipment. * Make repairs to equipment associated with the underground storage tanks and delivery systems, including alarms / probes / sensors. * Reset / reload POS (Point of Sale) equipment as needed and directed by IT. * Conduct regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment. * Meet response time parameters for repair types, including ensuring high priority work, as communicated by dispatch, is completed first. * Ensure that assigned vehicle is appropriately stocked with parts as needed. * Complete accurate work order reporting within required timelines * Available to work "on call" as assigned. May require unscheduled overtime, or ability to respond to emergency situations. * Communicate with all team members to ensure that technician's work assists store employees in being "customer obsessed" to provide customer satisfaction. Qualifications Required: * Strong communication skills, able to interact with store staff and customers * Valid driver's license and good driving record; responsible to drive company vehicle * Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. * Formal training / certifications in gasoline / POS equipment repairs / maintenance. * Able to complete 7-Eleven specific certifications after hire / training. * Basic computer knowledge. * High school diploma or GED * Minimum of 1 year of experience in fuel station equipment maintenance Preferred: * Certifications for multiple types of dispensers / POS equipment * Technology diploma or equivalent. * Other certifications or licenses (OSHA, HAZMAT, electrical, mechanical etc.) 7-Eleven, Inc.
