Oversees the administrative services and operational activities in support of one or more programs, based upon knowledge of program objectives and operating requirements in an effective and cost efficient manner.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Fleet Introduction Support Services for New Construction and In-Service vessels required.

Provide the required coordination, advice and technical assistance to all assigned Ship's Admin and Personnel Offices. Provide advice and assistance in preparing the appropriate administrative products required to support crew certification, readiness examinations incidental to commissioning/initial fleet service. Provide guidance and support to the ship's Security Officer/Manager in the development of the Physical Security plan.

Responsibilities The Administrative Assistant will support DDG-51 AEGIS Project Office - Program Manager's Representative (PMR) and be responsible for the following: * Provide a wide range of executive, analytical, management, and administrative support including, but not limited to: coordination of management office operations including management of records, schedules, correspondence, long-term planning, deliverables tracking, task management, and assistance in the development of milestones and objectives. * Prepare draft executive correspondence and maintain schedules and calendars. * Lead War Room operations. Develop minutes, briefings, and records and maintain sensitive program data in accordance with Navy policy and procedures. Interact effectively with senior executive staff. * Provide analytical, management, and strategic support in various areas to support program planning and execution. * Provide support in the development of integrated program plans. * Plan and prepare for critical events. * Research, accumulate, and analyze data to prepare draft correspondence, white papers, and briefings and reports in response to external queries. * Provide change management support. * Perform analysis to identify ship production trends and provide forecasts and ship production progress status. Qualifications & Clearance Requirements Education, Work Experience, Skills, and Clearance Requirements: * Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience OR a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of seven (7) years' relevant experience. * Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
