The Fleet Coordinator supports and promotes approved procedures and processes relative to acquiring, licensing, replacing and disposing of vehicles and associated equipment for the corporate fleet at large. Acts as the point of contact for local fleet matters. Coordinates internal reporting of acquisition and disposal of fleet vehicles. Administers invoice and expense handling, logistics and scheduling of associated services required to manage fleet of assigned vehicles.
Assists with scheduling and monitoring the organization's fleet of vehicles. Ensure the forms and documents that are provided for vehicles/drivers' compliance are up to date and in chronological order.
Supports the maintenance of fleet vehicles elated safety codes.
Assists the Coordinators with timely fleet information is distributed, collected and maintained in various data bases and/or applications.
Helps coordinating maintenance and repair appointments and schedules between customers and internal or external service providers, follows and communicates status as necessary.
Coordinates Fuel card system and driver requests.
Ensures Vehicle Status Changes are competed to include driver updates, department changes, etc. Liaisons with internal customers and Corporate fleet management to complete vehicle transfers and disposals.
Under close supervision may performs routine assignments as directed.
Monitors and manages local spare vehicle pools and reservations.
Performs other/additional duties and assigned by Supervisor.
Internal applicants should meet all eligibility requirements per employee handbook.
1 year of office administrative related experience required.
3 years of office administrative related experience preferred.
Automotive related environment highly desired. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
Strong communication and personal organization skills.
