We're looking for a talented Fleet Coordinator to help take Express Drive to the next level. In this role you will assist the Fleet Lead with vehicle management and drive improvements to the current process of managing vehicles to drive up utilization.   • Expertise in all things fleet management

  • Manage relationships with various partners including insurance agencies, collision centers, and internal/external partner teams

  • Manage PO process with collision centers, insurance adjusters, and HQ to ensure collision centers are paid in a timely matter

  • Manage and continually reduce vehicle out of service time across your market

  • Flag vehicle issues, program challenges, and bugs to Fleet Lead and internal/external partners

  • Own utilization by prioritizing getting vehicles rental ready for Lyft Drivers

Experience & Skills:

  • Ability to multitask on a number of different fronts

  • Extremely process oriented

  • Experience managing vendors and partners

  • General knowledge of the automotive industry and vehicles

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to analyze and understand data

  • Excellent communication, verbal, and writing skills

The University of Maryland Medical Center is currently seeking a Transplant Financial Coordinator with a desire to join our team. Located at the University Of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) in downtown Baltimore near the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards; you won't find a more vibrant place to work! Under general supervision, is an advocate on behalf of the patient and family. Obtains detailed patient insurance benefits and related financial information for all aspects of the transplant process. This includes, but is not limited to, evaluation, inpatient transplant surgery, prescription drugs and out patient testing. Provides patients and families information on additional health coverage for which they may qualify, assist in the procurement of additional information and applications from specific agencies. Principal Responsibilities and Task The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties performed by personnel so classified. 1. Obtains and researches patient insurance benefit information for all aspects of the transplant process, including, but not limited to, inpatient, outpatient, post transplant care, pharmacy, organ acquisition, travel and lodging. 2. Meets with prospective patients and their families to discuss benefit coverage and potential issues. Provides information regarding available sources and potential resources available for the person to investigate. 3. Collaborates with nursing staff, support staff, social work team and other health care professionals to identify and facilitate resolution of financial management issues. 4. Advises patients and healthcare team on insurance and billing issues and options. Serves as a resource for patients and their family members on insurance matters. 5. Obtains all necessary payer authorizations for all aspects of the transplant process. Verifies transplant coverage and other medical benefits and obtaining necessary referrals and authorizations, including, but not limited to, inpatient, outpatient, post transplant care, pharmacy, organ acquisition, travel and lodging. 6. Keeps supervisor and/or Administrator apprised of any issues related to payer authorization and reimbursement. 7. Documents updates in TeleResults regarding insurance changes and prior authorizations. Ensures that all payer prior authorizations are current. 8. Maintains Excel spreadsheet of listed patient to ensure all patients are reviewed and prior authorization is obtained if required. If prior approval can not be obtained for transplant; the reason must be placed on Excel spreadsheet. 9. Maintains current knowledge of federal regulations and commercial insurance guidelines for transplant reimbursement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required in order to effectively obtain and transmit required information from patients, insurance companies, physicians and internal/external agencies. 4. Demonstrates strong interpersonal and customer service skills to ensure positive relationship with transplant candidates, families, physicians and case managers. 5. Demonstrates an understanding of, and a commitment to, the customer service values of respect, courtesy, privacy, professionalism and responsiveness. 6. Ability to communicate on a professional level with other departments and outside vendors. 7. Ability to take initiative to teach and share new information and provide constructive feedback. 8. Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient population(s) served. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to his or her population-specific and age specific needs.
