Job Overview:

The Fleet Collections Manager will oversee the collections activities, including risk assessment and loss mitigation for the MBFS Fleet Collections portfolio. Their responsibilities will also include leadership and oversight of Fleet Collectors, financial analysis and credit committee recommendations for high exposure customers in the collections portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Manage portfolio of fleet collections and workout accounts. Ensure timely collections of payments and/or provide assistance as needed to customers in the form of either an extension and restructure. Negotiate return of collateral and liquidation of borrower assets with various interested parties including consultants, attorneys, other financial institutions and prospective purchasers of the assets. Provide support to sales personnel with customer requests, from a customer maintenance and collections standpoint. (30%)
• Complete workout requests in eCP including detailed financial analysis. Provide workout recommendations to senior management and local and regional credit committees including a comprehensive analysis of the associated risk and benefits. (15%)
• Provide oversight, coaching and development, leadership, and assistance to team of collectors. Ensure team members are attempting timely collection of payments and providing assistance as needed. (30%)
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations including both the local and global Credit Rules. (10%)
• Maintain and update the SAC database on a monthly basis, and represent collections in monthly SAC and portfolio review meetings. (15%)

Qualifikationen

Qualifications:

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. at the time of application. Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.

This position can be seated in Fort Worth, TX or Farmington Hills, MI.

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of overall work experience. Preferred experience includes:

• Business (General) - 5 years of experience

• Collections

• 3 years of experience

• Credit

• 3 years of experience

Education:

High School Diploma/(GED) is required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Recommended majors include:

• Accounting

• Business Administration

• Economics

Additional Knowledge:

• 3-5 years prior credit and/or Commercial Collections experience in a lending environment preferred

• Candidate should have fundamental accounting and finance knowledge.

Skills:

• Analytical Skills

• Ability to Collect data and establish facts and identify trends and variances

• Ability to Integrate information from a variety of sources with varied levels of complexity

• PC Skills

• Microsoft Office

Recommended Prerequisites:

• Commercial Collections; Credit Analyst (Fleet or Dealer); Dealer Relations Manager
