We are looking for a passionate, creative and driven marketing leader who gets excited about innovative customer experiences in retail and is looking to help evolve our flagship Microsoft Store strategy. This role will play a key part in launching Microsoft's largest international Flagship Store in London on Regent and Oxford Streets. As part of the Microsoft Store Marketing and Experiences team, you help transform the buying and ownership experience for Microsoft devices and services and represent the face of Microsoft to our local communities.
The Microsoft Store Flagship marketing team is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager who will lead the strategy and planning to support customer engagements, demand, perceptions, relationships and satisfaction, through orchestrated integrated marketing efforts that are created in a productive team environment, and through extraordinary partnerships with the Flagship Store team, Digital Store teams, local subsidiary stakeholders, HQ team members, and marketing agency partners.
This person will oversee the development and execution of local campaign strategies and plans (including PR and paid media) as well as project manage the development of the campaign creative concept and toolkits and ensure communication and alignment across various marketing functions (in-store, outbound and online). Finally, this person will ensure that our flagship Microsoft Stores deliver world class brand experiences, while also offering unique, measurable, destination driving activations, programs and events.
The ideal candidate is energetic, with superior project management skills and confidence in managing and partnering with multiple stakeholders. Someone who has previous marketing and media experience within the UK region and both eligibility and a willingness to be relocated to London.
Key skills & experience:
Minimum 5 years of multi discipline Marketing experience (advertising, events, PR, visual merchandising, social) across the UK in consumer or technology preferred
Eligibility for international relocation and UK work visa.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field preferred
Forward-thinking digitally savvy individual who has a passion for integrated marketing communications and particularly execution
Experience marketing to commercial accounts using modern marketing tools
Project management experience and a strong ability to set priorities, establish process or drive improvements on existing methods
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within fast paced, diverse cross functional teams with minimal supervision
Demonstrated decision making and prioritisation skills with strong attention to detail
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and local market benchmarks and research methods
Commercial acumen partnered with a creative mind
Demonstrated ability to impact and influence across virtual teams with no direct reporting lines
Experience managing agency relationships. Ability to manage and optimise agency performance and resourcing to meet the needs of Microsoft Store goals

Lead the planning, management and execution of an integrated marketing calendar for London, that includes Corp initiated product and seasonal priorities, coupled with locally relevant opportunities and partnerships, targeting key audiences: Gamers, SMB's EDU
Implement and execute in-store marketing plans including, but not limited to, visual merchandising, in-store events, experiences, social media and hyper local advertising. The marketing plans should focus on building awareness, driving traffic and conversion.
Partner across marketing team to ensure key experiences/activations are brought to life across channels to maximize customer awareness and engagement, growing the destination profile of a flagship Microsoft store.
Serve as central point of contact for omni-channel marketing execution for priority campaigns and outbound efforts for the physical and digital store channels
Lead the scheduling, planning and logistic efforts associated with event activity across the new flagship destination.
Initiate measurement methodologies and lead optimisation efforts of all program/ campaigns to demonstrate ROI. Communicate results and continue to evolve and mature our segment-focus in the stores.
Manage marketing budgets and assist in identifying cost recovery opportunities through key partnerships
Partner across the business to optimize lead nurturing processes through email, webinars, content, social channels and paid advertising
Partner with the social team to evolve the local social strategy and be a key channel to drive awareness and engagement of key activities
Lead local agency relationships to ensure quality executions and agility to respond to changing business needs
Work with HQ Marketing Teams to leverage key campaigns and best practices, while delivering thought leadership to guide international best practise and evolving consumer standards.
Development of work backs, process and procedures to enable seamless and coordinated execution of marketing campaigns (Omni-channel for key campaigns)
Forward thinking to multi-task and manage current executions, while planning 3-6 months out for future campaigns and experiences
Ensure brand communications align with corporate brand strategy, brand voice and guidelines
