Position Summary
The Fixture Application Engineer partners with Circuit Check customers as their primary contact related to quoting activities, including capturing and using all relevant customer data to provide a custom fixture quote, including responding to customer inquiries and providing additional detailed information to guide customers to the best test fixture solution alight with their test strategy.
This position reports to the ICT Senior Manager.
According to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standard Act), this position is classified as exempt.
What You'll be Doing
Accurately identifies and understands customer test application needs and converts into a detailed proposal/quotation; offering the best-fit technical solution to meet identified needs
Owns all customer interactions to obtain necessary information and materials for the quoting process
Develops detailed design, detailed costing, and quotations for In-Circuit Test (ICT) and Functional (FCT) fixturing
Participates in pricing strategy discussions with Business Development Engineers (BDE), Sales Management and Operations to support proposed pricing and ensure project margin goals are obtained
Enters quote information into SalesForce
Reviews customer supplied Statements of Work (SOW) for completeness and accuracy
Demonstrates to potential customers how and why products and services would suit customer needs (explanation of your quote)
Initiates customer order in the ERP system (IFS)
May assist the Project Managers with internal technical coordination and information sharing around provided quote
Maintains a positive business relationship with customers, Sales and all CCI personnel.

Required
Ability to maintain a full time schedule
Associates degree in Engineering related field
2-5 years of previous work experience in an engineering, technician, applications, or sales capacity
Demonstrated ability to communicate, listen, and present, and influence effectively at all levels of an organization
Must be able to work in a changing, fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously paying strict attention to detail
Technical competence, including the ability to review drawings and other engineering documents and translate to a technical proposal
Solid analytical skills; able to consider and offer various possible solutions to customers' needs
Strong communication skills; able to articulate the benefits and preferences of each product
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Requires a strong initiative, proactive nature, and a sense of urgency
Maintains confidentiality and security of intellectual property (ITAR, Prototype).
