JM&A Group is looking for a Fixed Operations Consultant to travel within an assigned region to our dealer clients to focus on three fixed operations five mission statement goals. This role requires up to 100% travel.
Responsibilities:
Consult with the Dealers on their current business strategy, KPIs and areas of opportunity
Use knowledge of automotive trends and practices to have strategy discussions with dealers
Demonstrate knowledge of competitive landscape and people to convey our unique offerings and differentiators
Set up the business evaluation to analyze the dealerships processes, performance, service personnel and market
Capture all sales activity in Lead Tracker
Communicate with all parties on the status of the account
Ensure communication to dealer and (Field Sales, DMs, & stakeholders ) is occurring on a regular cadence throughout engagement
Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate dealer needs
Source, develop and maintain professional consulting relationships with legacy dealers, potential dealers and contribute to the dealers' long-lasting success so that our reputation can expand
Work with DMs, RM, Divisional Managers to seek out new Fixed Operations Consulting opportunities actively manage client relationships
Consult with Dealers on the ability to leverage technology in their dealership
Stay up to date on industry technology and be able to speak to it effectiveness
Provide constant feedback on the consulting practices so that we ensure we are evolving our offerings to meet client need
Proficient on JM&A Fixed Operations Consulting Offerings
Develop a customize improvement plan for dealer engagement based on their individual needs and findings from Business Eval
Collaborate with Lead Consultants on deployment strategies
Track and trend ROI
Manage multiple active engagements to ensure client expectations being met
Qualifications:
Must have sales ability
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Consulting background preferred
At least 3-5 years of experience in Service management role within dealership (dealership parts department, dealership service department, automotive repair/body shop, or automotive retail store).
Proficient in MS Suite of Products
Experience with Electronic MPI required, working knowledge of Reynolds and Reynolds advance service a plus.
100% Travel required
