  • As part of Fixed Income COO team, support overall strategy, governance and management of all Fixed Income front office trading tools

  • Manage projects of various sizes and scope, liaising with technology teams to ensure high quality deliverables that meet fixed income trading needs

  • Support innovation & digitalization across all Fixed Income asset classes

  • Coordinate with fintech companies in capital markets space to stay connected to the eco system in most efficient way


  • Strong verbal/written communication, problem solver, self-starter, hard-working, eager to learn, easy to work with

  • 2-5 years fixed income experience working directly with traders and sales person, deep understanding of the sales & trading workflow

  • 2 years business analyst and/or project management experience

  • Must have capital markets trading platform (e-trading, pricing, STP, risk, p&l, etc) knowledge

  • Ability to interact with senior leaders across the firm

  • Knowledge on Fixed Income ECNs (TradeWeb, MarketAxess, Bloomberg ALLQ) is a big plus

  • Financial engineering/Computer science/Data Science background is a big plus

  • Experience working with capital markets FinTech companies is a big plus

Position This individual will be responsible for creating strategic marketing communications and programs that will: * raise awareness and enhance the prestige of Morgan Stanley Investment Management's Liquidity and Fixed income platform; * communicate and differentiate the value proposition in an effective manner; * generate demand for our offerings among current and prospective clients; * create opportunities for meaningful dialogue with clients and prospects; * develop and showcase the strength of our thought leadership. This position demands a unique combination of asset management, strategic and digital marketing, content creation, and project management experience. A deep understanding of investment strategies, vehicles (U.S. and offshore), industry trends, regulation and marketing methods to institutions, financial intermediaries and individuals is required. Primary responsibilities * Assume a leadership role in the conceptualization, development and maintenance of marketing materials and digital content to promote the Liquidity and Fixed Income platform * Work side-by-side with senior members of the investment, distribution and channel marketing teams to formulate and communicate the unique value proposition and competitive advantages of the investment teams and their associated offerings in a commercially effective manner. * Take a hands-on role in the creation of marketing materials including product pitch books, fact cards, sales tools, brochures, white papers, website and social media content. * Focus on learning from outcomes – setting objectives upfront and measuring impact * Ensure that all marketing materials are up to date and compliance approved for use in the appropriate channels Requirements * BA/BS degree required. * Series 7 required, or would need to be obtained * Ability to thrive within a collaborative, team-oriented marketing culture * Entrepreneurial attitude; willingness to take the initiative and identify creative ways to drive the marketing agenda forward * Outstanding writing and editing skills * Ability to communicate complex investment concepts and processes in an effective manner to external and internal audiences with varying levels of investment sophistication and knowledge * Proven history of managing through influence at all levels and across functions within a financial institution * Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders throughout Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Morgan Stanley. * Attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver outstanding work under tight deadlines * Excellent project and time management skills Level: Senior associate or Vice President Morgan Stanley New York NY
