Job Summary:

The Fixed Income Portfolio Specialist will assist the fixed income strategy managers in the areas of security & portfolio analysis, trade execution/settlement, portfolio accounting data reconciliation, and general administrative duties.


Primary Functions and/or

Responsibilities:
  • Provide analytical support of fixed income strategy managers, including security analysis and portfolio analysis, so as to enhance the probability of achieving clients' stated investment goals

  • Execution of fixed income trades within parameters established by fixed income strategy managers

  • Inputting of fixed income trade and security information into trade order management system

  • Preparation of portfolio accounting reports for bank/insurance clients

  • Participate in scheduled team meetings, develop and administer requisite agenda items as assigned, and coordinate with senior managing director to aggregate and disseminate relevant information to appropriate internal personnel

  • Serve as a back up to the Trading/Implementation Specialist

Education and/or Experience:

  • College degree (BS or BA in a relevant field)

  • Minimum of 2 years experience within investment management and/or financial services

  • Prior experience as an analyst (preferably within the environment of registered investment adviser or insurance) is desirable

Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • 10-Key by touch

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills (written and/or oral)

  • Strong organizational and planning skills

The Credit Portfolio Consultant 4 will be responsible for credit risk analysis, monitoring and reporting for the Home Lending portfolio. The individual will work closely with business line and risk management within Home Lending and requires an ability to develop partnerships across functional areas. Credit Portfolio Consultant 4 will provide insight into the economic climate and related market developments and identify trends which may present opportunities or reflect risk to portfolio performance. Specifically, the Credit Portfolio Consultant 4 will be responsible for but is not limited to: * Ownership, enhancement and monitoring of Home Lending Held for Investment (HFI) portfolio credit quality and performance * Design analytical frameworks to identify, assess and conduct deep dives on emerging trends on both active portfolios and legacy portfolios * Work with internal Wells Fargo data and external data such as macroeconomic variables and credit bureau data to provide insightful analysis on the HFI portfolio * Provide Capital Markets with reporting to support mortgage securitization activities * Provide subject matter expertise and leadership in cross-functional meetings within HL Credit Risk * Engagement with external regulators and internal oversight groups Candidates must be near a WF hub.
