When you join our team, as a Fixed Asset Staff Accountant youll be responsible for recording the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets, tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, accounting for the disposition of fixed assets and IT Project Accounting.

What youll do at as Fixed Asset Staff Accountant;

Monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recording of fixed assets

Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed

Track company expenditures for fixed assets in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations

Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger

Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as, general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions, and completed corresponding reconciliations

Prepare and analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, capital, income and expenses

Prepare and complete month-end close processing ensuring that all deadlines are met in accordance with the established closing dates

Reviews, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports

Conduct analysis related to fixed assets as requested by management

Communicate and coordinate with both internal and external auditors and satisfies their requests for information in a timely manner

Compliance with SOX controls

What you need to be successful at Mobile Mini;

Bachelors degree in accounting preferred

2-3 years experience with fixed assets

Computer, telephone and electronic office equipment

MS Office Suite 2 years of fixed asset accounting experience

Accounting for Information technology experience preferred, including SaaS Accounting

Must be detail oriented with ability to communicate clearly: both verbal and written

Intermediate knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Access

The Senior Plant Accountant will be responsible for the preparation and interpretation of month end closing activities, budgeting, inventory counts and forecasting. This position provides recommendations to management in support of the achievement of Company goals.
