The Role

Entegris is seeking a Staff Accountant who is responsible for establishing and maintaining global fixed asset accounting policies and procedures and US fixed asset records. This position is also responsible for the setup, tracking and reporting of all US capital projects using SAP Project Systems. This individual will enjoy supporting a very diverse cross functional customer base (R&D, Production, etc.) in multiple locations within the US. The role is located in Chaska, MN where our Corporate Finance organization resides.

In this role you will

  • Settle capital projects, calculate depreciation and ensure postings are correct in capital accounts and all projects are completely settled before month-end closes for main US Company Code;

  • Analyze Construction in Progress account to determine when projects are complete and ready for assets to be placed into service;

  • Work with capital project leaders on completion of projects and identification of assets to be set up in SAP;

  • Complete all month-end/year-end tasks according to deadlines;

  • Prepare monthly roll forward reports for Fixed Asset and Intangible Property accounts to ensure Asset Accounting system agrees with the GL;

  • Maintain all domestically located asset records; Create, dispose and transfer assets; Compute gain or loss on asset sales; Update US Intangibles schedule; Includes Canisters, Cylinders, ARO, scrap processing

  • Prepare monthly gain/loss and intercompany spreadsheets to track all asset dispositions and sales to other entities;

  • Act as the Fixed Assets Global Process Owner; including but not limited to: Identify and create process efficiencies; , Partner with Fixed Asset accountants at other foreign entities to resolve issues with asset transactions; communicate changes to Corporate asset policies and processes; and lead training where needed regarding best practices

  • Manage Project Accounting - Expense projects in SAP

  • Complete the Capital Activity report on monthly basis

  • Manage annual physical inventory and ensure that status of assets included in inventory population are reviewed;

  • Assist with SOX, Internal and External Audits as needed

  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and projects as needed.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting;

  • Advanced functionality of Excel;

  • SAP experience preferred.

  • 2 5 years of experience

Job Duties: * Directs the activities of Cage Cashiers pertaining to communication with guests and handling/securing of company assets to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. * Trains, develops, monitors performance, conducts performance appraisals, provides performance feedback. Assists in the hiring of team members. * Makes check override decisions and conducts overrides up to $500. * Prepares and reviews Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) documents to verify accuracy and completeness of all required documents. Acts in accordance to regulatory compliance through the monitoring and reporting of Title 31. * Ensures that proper levels of cash and cash equivalents are available at cashier workstations. Ensures ATM's are kept filled and associated accountability forms are complete. Reconciles total cage accountability for assigned area. Reconciles ticket in-ticket out for cashiers. * Schedules breaks and monitors shift changes to ensure coverage at all times. * Completes shift report containing variances, guest issues, performance issues, other department issues, CTRs completed, and any other concerns/comments pertaining to the shift. Information is used by Management to evaluate, maintain, and improve department performance. * Reconciles the entire casino cash accountability for assigned shift. * Must be 18 years of age or older. * High school graduate or GED. * Experience at Little Six Casino as a cage cashier. * Ability to pass basic cage math test. * Basic 10-key and keyboarding skills. * Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.
