As an integral member of the Finance Team, the Senior Accountant will assist with the full accounting cycle, ensuring application of sound accounting principles/practices. The candidate must be very hands-on, detail oriented, and have strong organization and communication skills.
Specific duties may include:
Global fixed asset accounting including related monthly reporting requirements
As a Business Partner, liaise with other departments; procurement; and accounting staff to facilitate process improvement and global growth objectives in the procurement process as it relates to fixed assets
Assist in monthly global consolidation process including reporting and analysis of financial statements
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and ability to identify and resolve issues proactively;
Liaise with external auditors for both domestic and foreign audits as necessary;
Sales and use tax reporting related to invoices
Keep abreast of current and upcoming changes in US GAAP and IFRS;
Assist with other general accounting projects, month-end close work and ad-hoc projects as needed;
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
A minimum of five to seven years of experience in accounting;
Advanced working knowledge of Excel
Strong preference for knowledge of Oracle Cloud or other ERP systems;
Detail oriented, organized and able to meet tight deadlines;
Self-motivated, results driven, prefers to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment;
Proven prioritization, time management and project management skills;
Effective written and interpersonal communication skills;
