We are hiring a Fitness Specialist who will bring energy and enthusiasm to our team! Put your passion for fitness to work in meaningful ways in a non-traditional setting. The Fitness Specialist is responsible for promoting wellness throughout the community, working with seniors individually and leading group exercise classes.

How you will make an impact:

• Assisting Fitness Coordinators in monitoring the daily operations of the 4 onsite Fitness Centers

• Leading 1-1 personal training as well as group exercise and specialty classes

• Assisting with the promotion, coordination, and implementation of exercise programs and campus wide events

• Building relationships with residents and staff, encouraging physical activity and overall wellness.

What you will need:

• Associate's Degree in Health Education/Physical Education or related field; Bachelor's Degree in Health/Fitness Related/Physical Education field

• Minimum of one (1) year related work experience. Experience may be substituted if Bachelor's degree is in a related field.

• Certification through a national organization (ACSM, ACE, NASM) preferred.

• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
