Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia's capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance.

To ensure fiscal responsibility and accountability over the use of college funds. To provide the financial guidance, controls, procurement and other support services in accordance with all required rules and regulations and in a professional, courteous and service oriented manner.
To maintain petty cash account, process local funds requests and checks. Budget check Chrome River submittals and process any needed travel reimbursement vouchers.
Special Assignments
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSA's/Required Qualifications
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices. Working knowledge of office procedures and equipment to include proficiency and Microsoft Office software.
Demonstrated ability to perform detailed work in numerical data and to make arithmetical calculations rapidly and accurately. Demonstrated ability to prepare routine financial reports and statements. Demonstrated ability to analyze transactions for conformity with procedures, policies and regulations. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
Additional Considerations
Education equivalate to high school diploma and basic accounting courses and some accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Operation of a State Vehicle No Supervises Employees No Required Travel
May require travel as needed.
