Position Summary:
The purpose of the Business Acuity Plan is to assess, engage, implement, and sustain new practices both in practices and business procedures. The plan will encompass three main areas to achieve the purpose. The first is Implementation Science (IS) with components of accounting, and marketing. From the accounting perspective, we aim to utilize financial data from providers to calculate the current cost per client in programs. Second, we aim to work out switching costs and determine the financial implications associated with transitioning clients from one program to another. Lastly, we aim to develop supervised machine learning models to predict the financial outcomes (e.g., efficiency ratios, program costs) of transitioning clients to community-oriented services
These techniques can also tell us what the key demographic, clinical and program-related drivers are that influence successful client transitions, and how these can be identified to optimize the transition process
We aim to explore the use of predictive analytics to identify factors influencing successful transitions and potential obstacle
The Fiscal Support Manager is responsible for performing a wide variety of fiscal related tasks that are standard or regular support duties within an assigned unit or program and for researching financial data and preparing reports. The position is governed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepares monthly financial reports for the HOWL RESTORE Hub and all contracts, showing reconciliation of Unit accounts
Maintains research/grant files, places orders against various unit accounts; reviews accounts and submits transfers for budget revisions
Prepares and monitors forms on Taleo and monitors graduates assistants hiring on EPAF
Researches previous years expenditures and projects salaries/expenditures for upcoming year
Responsible for budget transfers
Responsible monthly reallocation and reconciliation of unit purchasing card and travel cards
Procures equipment, technology, design project supplies, etc. for unit needs
Prepares travel forms and arranges travel plans for unit
Post job positions and assists with searches
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of accounting principles and database management
Knowledge of software applications
Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies of assigned section, and customer service techniques
Ability to comprehend and assimilate technical and business-related documents
Ability to apply policies and procedures and other applicable regulations associated with assigned department or program, and conduct research, perform quantitative assurance reviews, and prepare reports

Minimum Qualifications:
An earned Bachelor's Degree in general business, finance, or a related field
One (1) year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field
