If you answered "yes" to these questions, you are invited to join the Facilities Construction Management Division of the Department of Facilities & Fleet Management.

This dynamic work group is seeking a Fiscal Analyst to be part of a team that processes payments for the planning, design, and construction of capital facilities associated with the Prince William County Capital Improvement Program.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. They will possess a thorough knowledge of principles and practices associated with project management, municipal budgeting processes, and financial and statistical analysis.General knowledge of building design and construction terminology and processes are a plus.

The incumbent will serve as the primary liaison between the Division's Project Managers and Sr. Business Services Analyst to ensure Division budgets, payments, and cash flow are accurate and current.

Responsibilities include producing Capital Improvement Program (CIP) financial reports and updates, ensuring all invoices, Contractor payment applications (including change orders), and other Division payments are approved in a timely manner, and other duties as assigned by the Sr. Business Services Analyst.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or G.E.D. and 4 years of related experience.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, or related field.

• One year of experience with municipal capital budgeting, financial / statistical analysis, and construction accounting in a local government setting.

• General knowledge of building design and construction processes are a plus.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:

37.5 hours per week.

ENTRY SALARY RANGE:

$64,311.00 to $77,480.75
