Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related from an accredited university. Four years of related experience with exposure to computerized budgeting system and accounting systems is required.

Expertise in personal computers including spreadsheets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Master's degree in Business or other related field.

Experience in an academic health care setting.

The Fiscal Analyst occupies a responsible position within the Budget Office and will assist the Budget Director and Assistant Director in meeting assigned objectives and responsibilities at LSUHSC-S. The Fiscal Analyst will be expected to demonstrate initiative and professional expertise in exercising duties and functions and must be prepared to meet assigned responsibilities with limited supervision.

VIEW JOBS 11/28/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-26T00:00 Metro Aviation is in need of a Flight Operations Quality Assurance Analyst. FOQA Analyst will provide support and assistance to the FOQA Manager. The FOQA Analyst will communicate and support the directives, programs, and policies of the FOQA department to employees and customers. Duties and Responsibilities * Solid familiarity with FAA regulations and the Company's Operational Manual(s) * Possesses a working knowledge of air medical services operations and maintenance * Assists the FOQA Manager in program implementation and continuous improvement including: * Supports the FOQA Manager with daily administration of the FOQA efforts to ensure analysis of flight data for improved flight * FOQA program and data collection to ensure compliance with FAA FOQA guidance, the MAI I&O plan and program policies and procedures. * Monitors and recommends changes to event classifications * When assigned, performs as company liaison with the pilot work group and gatekeeper pilots to manage crew contact as required * Produces periodic FOQA reports for distribution regarding fleet wide trending information * Performs specialized studies and fulfills special data * Investigates events as * Integrates FOQA into other lines of service as appropriate and according to schedule * Analyzes information, summarizes findings and presents them in clear and useful reports understandable to decision-makers. * Develops processes, procedures, methodologies and systems relevant to the work area, including preparation of appropriate documentation. * Provides FOQA training and instruct company employees concerning MAI FOQA process and procedures * Works with IT/IS department in data base development/improvement * Development of predictive analysis methodology * Develops implements and monitors an evaluation plan addressing logic models, strategic and program evaluation questions, data collection methods, quantitative and qualitative analysis and * Develops methods to apply research findings to company procedures and policies * Ability to analyze information, summarize findings and present them in clear and useful reports understandable to decision-makers. * Conducts other duties as assigned by the Director of Safety Qualifications and Educational Requirements * Bachelor's degree in aviation, flight technology, engineering, statistical analysis or related area or a combination of education and experience * Two (2) or more years of safety experience within air medical transportation operation * Two (2) or more years of statistical analysis. Previous supervisory experience. Aviation background preferred.
