What you will do!

As a Fiscal Analyst 1, you will provide support to the OHA Health Policy and Analytics division and perform essential budget functions and assessment in support of the agency budget.

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the information in support of the department budgets by supporting the Fiscal Analysts and the Budget Administrator in the maintenance of and tracking of information using database or excel spreadsheets applications for reporting, projecting, and monitoring the agency budget. You will maintain data spreadsheets, creates reports for monitoring, applies knowledge of information and understanding of budget operations to analyze, design and report expenditures and revenues in support of the agency budget. You will also provide available information to customers on agency budgets, expenditures, and the accurate coding of expenditures. In addition, you will support the HPA Legislative Coordinator for tracking, updating, and maintaining fiscal records.

This position falls under the Fiscal Analyst 1 classification. The AA Rate Pay Range for this position is $ 4,138.00-$ 6,322.00 USD Monthly

Work Location: Optional, 100% in-person or hybrid options are available, with office space in Portland or Salem and may require occasional travel around the state. While this role allows for a hybrid work arrangement, candidates must reside within the region due to occasional in-person meetings and events.

What we are looking for:

A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public or Non-Profit Management, Finance, Accounting or a related degree (such as Public Policy, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics or other analytical or technical degree).

OR;

three years experience in management, policy or program analysis, or technical-level budgetary support activities.
