Required: Two (2) years of acute care experience in appropriate clinical care area Registration as a professional nurse in the state of North Carolina multi-state licensure privilege through the Nurse Licensure Compact BLS ACLS- if in critical care areas Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Electronic Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate) S.T.A.B.L.E. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Experience providing care to a diverse population of patients/families. #Commitment to providing nursing care that is patient and family centered. Compassionate, non-judgmental, respectful and accountable. Knowledge regarding quality improvement and standards of care within practice area. Experience in teaching patients and families. Excellent communication skills. Ability to effectively delegate and supervise the work of other nursing team members

Preferred:

National certification in appropriate clinical area (i.e. CCRN) Bachelor of Science in Nursing
